Handcrafted Copper Weathervane
We individually hand sculpt every Verdigris Tarpon Weathervane in copper. The body is carefully formed to create a fully dimensional figure rather than a flat silhouette, while the scales and fins are worked by hand to give the fish texture, depth, and character.
The verdigris patina adds another dimension to the sculpture. Its rich weathered green surface recalls naturally aged copper and gives the tarpon the appearance of an established architectural ornament that has been exposed to sea air and weather for generations.
