TH Bassett Hound Weathervane
Our TH Bassett Hound Weathervane is individually hand sculpted in copper. It captures the breed’s long ears, expressive face, sturdy build, and relaxed character that have made the Basset Hound one of the world’s most recognizable and admired scent hounds. We create each weathervane as a custom commission, allowing every sculpture to reflect the proportions and personality you would like to see in your finished piece.
At SkyArt Studio & Gallery, we work closely with every customer throughout the design process. Whether your Basset Hound is a treasured family companion, an accomplished tracking partner, or simply a breed you admire, we sculpt each figure with careful attention to balance, movement, and authentic detail. The result is a handcrafted functional sculpture that adds lasting character to a home, barn, garden structure, or cupola.
Handcrafted Copper Weathervanes
Our TH Bassett Hound Weathervanes are available in 24-inch, 30-inch, and larger custom sizes. Every standard assembly includes two copper balls, solid brass directional markers, brass retaining rings, and a stainless-steel mast. Optional faux bronze, verdigris, and genuine 23-karat gold leaf finishes are available for an additional charge, allowing your weathervane to complement a wide variety of architectural styles.
Because every commission is individually handcrafted, slight variations make each sculpture a unique work of functional art.
Functional Sculpture for Home or Barn
A custom TH Bassett Hound Weathervane does more than indicate wind direction. It celebrates the breed’s gentle disposition, remarkable scenting ability, and unmistakable appearance while serving as a timeless architectural accent for your home, barn, garden structure, or cupola.
