Splashing Tarpon Weathervane
The Splashing Tarpon Weathervane captures the breathtaking moment when one of the world’s most celebrated game fish bursts from the water in a display of speed, strength, and energy. Arched in mid-leap with flowing fins and a sweeping tail, the design conveys the dramatic movement that has made the tarpon legendary among saltwater anglers.
Handcrafted in dimensional copper, this swell-bodied weathervane has exceptional depth and sculptural presence. The curved body, extended fins, and upward motion create a powerful silhouette that stands out beautifully against the open sky.
The Legendary Silver King
Often called the Silver King, the Atlantic tarpon is admired for its impressive size, strength, and spectacular aerial leaps. These remarkable fish inhabit warm coastal waters and are especially associated with Florida, the Gulf of Mexico, and the Caribbean.
The Splashing Tarpon Weathervane is a natural choice for waterfront homes, beach houses, fishing lodges, marinas, boathouses, coastal businesses, and properties belonging to anyone with a love of saltwater fishing and life on the water.

Handcrafted Copper Construction
Each Splashing Tarpon Weathervane is individually handcrafted using traditional metalworking techniques. The dimensional copper body is carefully shaped and assembled to create a substantial sculptural figure with strength, balance, and lasting visual appeal.
The weathervane is supplied with SkyArt Studio’s standard assembly, including two copper balls, brass retainer rings, a brass directional set, and a stainless-steel mast.
Available finishes include natural copper, faux bronze, verdigris patina, and genuine 23-karat gold leaf.
Choosing the Right Size
Proper scale is important when selecting a weathervane. Roof height, viewing distance, and the overall proportions of the structure should all be considered.
