Sheep Dog Weathervane
Our Sheep Dog Weathervane is individually hand sculpted in copper. It captures the distinctive shaggy coat, sturdy build, and gentle expression that have made the Sheepdog one of the world’s most recognizable and admired working breeds. We create every weathervane as a custom commission, allowing each sculpture to reflect the proportions and character you would like to see in your finished piece.
At SkyArt Studio & Gallery, we work closely with every customer throughout the design process. Whether your Sheepdog is a beloved family companion, an accomplished herding dog, or simply a breed you have long admired, we sculpt each figure with careful attention to movement, balance, and authentic detail. The result is a handcrafted functional sculpture that adds lasting character to a home, barn, garden structure, or cupola.
Handcrafted Copper Weathervanes
Our Sheepdog Weathervanes are available in 24-inch, 30-inch, and larger custom sizes. Every standard assembly includes two copper balls, solid brass directional markers, brass retaining rings, and a stainless-steel mast. Optional faux bronze, verdigris, and genuine 23-karat gold leaf finishes are available for an additional charge, allowing your weathervane to complement a wide variety of architectural styles.
Because every commission is individually handcrafted, slight variations make each sculpture a unique work of functional art.
Functional Sculpture for Home or Barn
A custom Sheep Dog Weathervane does more than indicate wind direction. It celebrates the intelligence, loyalty, and dependable nature that have made this remarkable breed a favorite among shepherds, farmers, and families for generations, while serving as a timeless architectural accent for your home, barn, garden structure, or cupola.
