Rabbit and Flowers Weathervane

The Rabbit and Flowers Weathervane is a charming example of SkyArt Studio’s custom sculptural work, combining a familiar country animal with an unusually decorative botanical setting. The rabbit rests among flowers and foliage, creating a composition that feels more like a small copper sculpture than a traditional weathervane silhouette.

The combination of wildlife and floral detail gives this piece a distinctive storybook quality while demonstrating how an original idea can be translated into three-dimensional copper.

A Handcrafted Copper Design

This Rabbit and Flowers Weathervane was individually hand sculpted in copper, with particular attention given to the rabbit’s form and the surrounding flowers, leaves, and decorative details.

Unlike simpler silhouette-style weathervanes, this design required numerous individual sculptural elements to work together as a unified composition. The finished piece demonstrates the versatility of traditional copper-forming techniques and the range of subjects that have been created in the SkyArt Studio workshop.

Whimsical Copper Sculpture

The Rabbit and Flowers Weathervane brings together wildlife, nature, and traditional American copper craftsmanship in an unusually playful composition. The quiet rabbit surrounded by flowers gives the piece warmth and personality while its detailed construction illustrates the possibilities of sculptural weathervane design.
