Jamestown RI Weathervane
Our Jamestown RI Weathervane was created as a distinctive silhouette celebrating Jamestown, Rhode Island. The elongated shape and irregular shoreline make the design immediately recognizable while creating an unusual horizontal profile that works particularly well as a weathervane.
This is a double-sided silhouette weathervane, giving the design a finished appearance when viewed from either side. Translating a geographic outline into a functioning weathervane requires more than simply reproducing a map. The shape must be carefully interpreted and balanced around the central mast while preserving the features that give the location its identity. The result is both a representation of place and a piece of architectural art.
