Irish Setter Weathervane
Our Irish Setter Weathervane is individually hand sculpted in copper. It captures the graceful lines, athletic build, flowing coat, and elegant expression that have made the Irish Setter one of the world’s most admired sporting breeds. We create each weathervane as a custom commission, allowing us to tailor the sculpture to the proportions and character you would like to see in your finished piece.
Whether inspired by a beloved hunting companion, cherished family member, or simply an admiration for the breed, we sculpt each Irish Setter with careful attention to balance, movement, and anatomical detail. The result is a functional work of art that adds lasting beauty and distinction to a home, barn, garden structure, or cupola.
Handcrafted Copper Weathervanes
Our Irish Setter Weathervanes are available in 24-inch, 30-inch, and larger sizes. Standard assemblies include two spun copper balls, solid brass directional markers, brass retaining rings, and a stainless-steel mast for years of dependable service. Standard finishes include faux bronze or verdigris patina. For an even more distinctive appearance, we also offer genuine 23-karat gold leaf to complement a wide variety of architectural styles. Verdigris and genuine 23-karat gold leaf finishes are available for an additional charge.
Because we handcraft every sculpture, subtle variations make each Irish Setter Weathervane a unique original.
Functional Sculpture with Lasting Appeal
A weathervane does far more than indicate the direction of the wind. It becomes an architectural focal point that reflects the personality of its owner while adding craftsmanship and visual interest to the surrounding environment. We design our custom Irish Setter Weathervanes to provide generations of enjoyment with minimal maintenance.
If you have questions about sizing, installation, or creating a custom design based on your own Irish Setter, we are happy to help. We also provide installation guidance, diagrams, and support for homeowners, contractors, and installers.
