GB Weathervane
Our GB Weathervane is a personalized design created more than twenty years ago for a customer who requested that their initials be incorporated into the weathervane. The letters GB were placed within a circular frame, creating a simple, distinctive monogram that could be clearly seen as part of the finished design. The compass points were requested by the client.
Handcrafted by SkyArt Studio & Gallery, the GB Weathervane demonstrates how a personal idea can be transformed into functional architectural art. The circular monogram was carefully proportioned to work with the arrow and directional assembly while maintaining the balance necessary for a properly functioning weathervane.
Personalized initials, family monograms, business symbols, and other meaningful designs can provide the starting point for a custom weathervane. Each project is individually considered for proportion, visibility, balance, and its relationship to the building or setting where it will ultimately be installed.

The weathervane comes with our standard assembly, including two copper balls, brass retainer rings, a brass directional set, and stainless-steel mast.
The finish can be customized in faux bronze, verdigris, or 23-karat gold leaf. Natural copper is also available and will gradually develop its own distinctive patina with exposure to the elements.
